Dr Dave Shuster qualified at the University of Newcastle and was in full time
private
practice until 1997. Since then he has worked partly in
referral practice and partly as a lecturer
and researcher. He lectures both in the UK and internationally and has
established a reputation as an enthusiastic and committed teacher. His
hands on courses are noted for the lively interactions and the unconventional
“kitchen table” experiments used to explain complex practical endodontic
principles. Dave’s wide range of research interests include
the
mechanics of gutta percha obturation, instrument design and motor operation.
He consults for the endodontic trade on matters including product development
and evaluation. He is responsible for the endodontics teaching program of
vocational dental trainees in schemes over three regions. |
